Description

Slot diffusers direct air from air conditioning systems into rooms horizontally or vertically. The resulting air flow provides a large volume of air to the room, thereby quickly reducing the air flow velocity and the temperature difference between the supply air and the room air. The result is mixing ventilation and good overall room ventilation in the comfort zones, creating only slight turbulence in the work area. TSD slot diffusers are factory equipped with manually adjustable blades. The diffuser can be equipped with continuous fins for unidirectional horizontal airflow or vertical airflow for added control. Air supply is unidirectional (1 slot) or bidirectional (2 or more slots). Other air distribution options: heating mode with vertical supply. Temperature difference between supply air and room air from –10 to +10 K. Damper blade (optional) simplifies air flow adjustment during commissioning.

To give the room an aesthetic appearance, TSD slot diffusers can be used for extract air. The TSD-AKV series plenum boxes and transfer adapters are available with an optional 12mm internal lining to suit local requirements.

Single diffuser

LN: 300 mm to 1800 mm

When arranged in sections

LN: > 1801 mm and ≤ 3600 mm, then the diffusers are supplied as two end sections of equal length

LN: > 3600 mm, the face diffusers are supplied as n x 1800 mm middle parts and two end parts of equal length

For continuous sectional arrangement, diffusers must be ordered with the overall nominal length of the section. Diffusers will be supplied in sections (2 end sections of equal length or n x 1800mm middle sections and 2 end sections of equal length depending on nominal length) with locating pins for on-site connection by third parties. You must specify the end plates or end angles that will be factory installed on the diffuser end sections.

Intermediate sizes in 1 mm increments are available on request.
