KB Series Air Dampers
Rectangular louver-type air dampers and circular dampers are designed for regulating airflow and pressure, as well as for shutting off air ducts and ventilation openings in walls and ceilings.
- Maximum dimensions of rectangular models made of steel and stainless steel: 3000 × 2000 mm.
- Maximum diameter of circular dampers: 1000 mm (versions above 500 mm in diameter are available as rectangular dampers with circular connection flanges of the corresponding diameter).
- Blades can be configured for parallel or opposed operation.
- In both steel and stainless steel versions, blades are interconnected by external linkages (for both parallel and opposed blade operation).
- Available in both standard and custom sizes.
Application
- KB series air dampers are used for regulating airflow and air pressure in ventilation and air conditioning systems.
- They are also used for shutting off air ducts and ventilation openings in walls and ceiling structures.
- Parallel blade operation is primarily used for damper opening/closing.
- Due to their design characteristics, opposed blade operation is mainly used for airflow and pressure regulation.
- Versions made of stainless steel 304 (L) or 316 (L) ensure high corrosion resistance.
- Resistant to temperatures up to 280 °C for one hour.
