For us, air is the food we need for a long and healthy life. And this food must be consumed in its purest form. We already provide fresh air to about 320 million people indoors around the world. We are proud to deliver fresh, healthy air into every home with the latest high-efficiency solutions that reliably remove CO2, clean the air of pollutants, viruses and bacteria, filter, and optimize humidity, temperature and acoustics. Numerous studies show that with good air quality, a person’s well-being and performance increase, and the incidence of diseases is significantly reduced.
But it’s not just indoor air that’s important to us. We are also committed to ensuring good air quality outside of them. Effective measures against climate change, such as massive reductions in CO2 emissions, are therefore one of TROX’s top priorities.
The TROX group of companies has developed its concept of sustainable development, according to which we plan to become climate neutral by 2040. Moreover, for TROX production sites around the world, the deadline for achieving this goal is 2025. That’s why our factories around the world are already implementing many different energy-saving technologies.
TROX China
In 2022, the plant switched to LED lighting; an office automated system was introduced to reduce paper consumption.
TROX Malaysia
With the help of a photovoltaic solar power plant installed on the roof of the plant in 2022, it is planned to cover about 40% of the total electricity consumption. In addition, a rainwater collection system has been installed, which is used for sanitation purposes.
TROX Brazil
At the end of 2021, the plant switched to renewable energy sources. Also, trials are currently underway to use powder paint with a lower curing temperature in production, which will reduce natural gas consumption.
