Description
Nozzles are an ideal solution when supply air must travel long distances from the supply point to the work area. It is possible to adjust the deflection angle and, accordingly, the direction of the air flow, change the heating or cooling modes. The temperature difference between the supply air and the room can range from –12 to +20 K.
Cooling mode
Setting the cooling mode is possible with a positive deflection angle of up to 30°. The supply air stream is directed towards the ceiling, but due to the higher density of cold air, the angle of deflection of the air stream towards the floor increases, because the distance from the nozzle increases. When the supply air stream reaches the work area, the temperature difference between the supply air and the room air, as well as the air speed, are reduced to a comfortable level.
This principle of operation is used for long distances.
Heating mode
Setting the heating mode is possible at a negative deflection angle of –30° or less. The supply air stream is directed into the working area. Due to the lower density of warm air, the jet adheres well to the surface. When the supply air stream reaches the work area, the temperature difference between the supply air and the room air, as well as the air speed, are reduced to a comfortable level.
The nozzle deflection angle can be changed manually or using a thermal or electric drive.
The swirl element and plug (optional) reduce the jet length by up to 65% or 75%.
