Displacement diffuser BBK is suitable for industrial applications.
Unlike conventional air supply via ceiling- or wall-mounted diffusers, displacement ventilation supplies air at low turbulence and low velocity from the lower part of the room, at approximately 0.3 m/s.
The temperature difference between supply air and room air can be selected within the range of –1 to –6 °C, depending on the activity level of personnel in the occupied zone.
Air discharge openings are available for 90°, 180° and 360° air distribution.
Description
BBK diffusers can be installed in corners, against walls or as free-standing units. Air supply is characterised by low turbulence and low discharge velocity.
The upper part of the diffuser is equipped with a spigot connection, and the air discharge panel is lined with material.To ensure optimum system pressure balance, a flow equaliser is installed internally (low-resistance equaliser made of nonwoven material; high-resistance equaliser made of fibreglass material). The air discharge panel can be easily removed to replace the flow equaliser.
