Circular variable flow controllers for regulating air flows in VAV systems, suitable for supply and exhaust ventilation

For regulating air flow and pressure both in the room and in the air duct.
Electronic controllers (Easy, Compact, Universal and LABCONTROL) for various applications
High control accuracy even when installed in duct bends (R=1D)
Allowable air speed up to 13 m/s
Damper tightness according to EN 1751, class 4
Housing tightness according to EN 1751 class C

Optional equipment

Soundproofing coating to reduce noise generated by the chassis
Optional CA, CS or CF Series silencer to reduce noise generated by air flow
Water heater Series WL or electric air heater Series EL for secondary air reheating

Description

The VAV air flow controller is equipped with an effective pressure sensor to measure air flow. Control components (optional accessories) include an effective pressure sensor, which converts the effective pressure into an electrical signal, a controller and an actuator; The control functions can be implemented using the Easy controller, Compact controller or individual components (Universal or LABCONTROL). In most cases, the temperature value is set by the room temperature controller. The flow controller compares the actual and set values and, if there is a deviation, generates a corresponding signal to the valve electric drive.

Standard sizes 100 – 400 mm
Air flow range 34 – 7591 m³/h or 10 – 2108 l/s
Air flow control range (dynamic differential effective pressure measurement device) Approx. 10 – 100% of nominal air flow
Air flow control range (static differential effective pressure measurement device) Approx. 15 to 100% of rated air flow
Minimum pressure drop Up to 117 Pa (without round silencer)
Maximum pressure drop 1000 Pa
Operating temperature 10 to 50 °C
