Description
Swirl diffusers for installation in stages in air conditioning systems create swirling supply air for supply to rooms. The air flow obtained at the outlet of the diffuser allows one to achieve high ejection values, thereby quickly reducing the flow rate and leveling out the temperature difference between the supply air and the air in the room. Swirl diffusers for installation in stages supply air directly to the work area, as well as individually to the persons located in this area. The result is ventilation mixing in comfort zones and excellent air quality in the work area.
Swirl diffusers for installation in stages of the SD series have fixed guide vanes. It is possible to order various components to influence the air flow and adapt when the requirements for the room change. A spigot can be used to achieve an air supply parallel to the mounting surface, while a jumper is used to achieve an angled air supply. The air should be distributed in such a way that it does not blow into the feet of people sitting next to the diffuser. If step swirl diffusers are located under seats or vertically in steps between seats, an angled air supply is recommended. If diffusers are located in steps below seat level, parallel air supply is recommended. The temperature difference between the supply air and the room can range from –6 to +6 K.
